We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel at the end of October 2025. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely ground floor room with its own balcony overlooking the promenade and sea. We had 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners that were excellent and altogether made for an excellent stay and ideally located for visiting the D Day beaches and museums.

Reserved Garden View rooms at La Cremaillere by the water and ended up in a hidden hotel two blocks away. Sea view, garden view, cottages, BEWARE! Restaurant is OUTSTANDING!

Room good, in “Carbet” annexe with balcony overlooking the promenade and the beach. Some public areas, front door/stairwell a little shabby. Restaurant in main building was very good for a hotel of this type. We returned to eat there on our second night. Young friendly staff. Breakfast also good, with the, unusual for France, teapots and teabags to make your own tea.

No A/C so beware if it is a tad hot outside, because it will be a sweat box in the room. Room was small and just ok. I will not return.

Perfect for our needs . I looked really hard for a beachfront location with walk in shower to suit accessibility needs of my father who has bad arthritis in both knees. We were so happy with our rooms , 12 and 14, literally on the seafront sun shone and it was bliss. Rooms clean and modern, and almost on the beach . Icing on the cake was my father was able to get into the sea for first time in years as beach was flat and no waves and tide in and there was a railing at steps to beach (also a ramp if needed further down near main hotel building). Staff were very attentive to our needs and restaurant was excellent . We will be back 😎

Nice clean room right on historic beach was great. Good food in resturaunt and lots of scenic boardwalks and trails to walk on nearby.

The room size was large and accommodating.
The towel warmer was hit!
Beautiful view and nice cross breeze.
Very quiet and peaceful to to the ocean at bedtime.
Staff was pleasant but not helpful. We needed to return from our trip to Normandy. We called and the man on the phone was rude!

Wonderful French Coastal Experience
Wonderful experience close to all the WW2 sites we came to see. Tucked away approx 100 yards from the beach. 5 min walk to Juno Beach Centre. Small, comfortable and clean. Staff were very pleasant, and the breakfast was simple but fresh and filling.

We were driving, so parking was free and easy. Juno Beach was reason for visit and it's walking distance from hotel. Go to sleep with sound of waves, very peaceful. And food, supplies all within easy walk. Beach has promenade to walk on.
